MAC— authorized partner
High-cycle pneumatic solenoid valves engineered in Wixom, Michigan.
A statement, not a logo placement.
MAC valves are the answer when off-the-shelf solenoid valves keep failing. They cycle faster, last longer, and tolerate the kind of duty that catalog valves don't survive. We've spec'd MAC pulse valves into citrus juicing, phosphate processing, and packaging-line applications where standard valves fail every six weeks.
Why MAC, specifically
Most pneumatic solenoid valves are built around a poppet seat that does fine at moderate cycle speeds and moderate clean-air conditions. Push the cycle rate over 2 Hz, push the duty cycle over 70%, or contaminate the air supply with oil or particulate, and the poppet starts to lose service life. MAC valves are direct-acting, balanced spool valves with hard-on-hard sealing surfaces — they don't have a poppet seat to wear out. The trade-off is higher initial cost; the payoff is service life that runs five to fifteen times longer in demanding applications.
We've shipped MAC valves into thousands of customer applications over forty years. We know which series fits which duty. We can specify a 56C for a high-cycle citrus extractor, a 92-series pulse valve for a baghouse, an MV for a logic application, and we can do it on the first try.
Where MAC fits in our work
About 35% of our pneumatic-valve revenue is MAC. We carry deep stock at our Tampa branch, especially of the high-velocity 56C and 92 series. We're a MAC authorized distributor and warranty service center for the southeast.
On custom-assembly work, MAC valves are our default specification for any application running over 1.5 Hz nominal or operating in dirty-air conditions. On retrofit work, MAC valve replacements are the single highest-ROI fluid-power retrofit we sell — typically a 6 to 12 month payback in deferred maintenance and reduced downtime.
What we stock
Roughly 800 MAC SKUs at the Tampa branch, with two-day fulfillment from MAC's Wixom warehouse for anything else. Most popular: 56C-11-111, 56C-23-111, 92-series pulse valves in 1" and 1.5" port sizes, and MV-series logic valves. We can quote any line in the MAC catalog and most ship from stock or factory within a week.

10× longer valve life on a citrus juicing line
The customer was burning through poppet-style solenoid valves on the FMC extractor finishers at an alarming clip — average mean time between failures of 38 days, sometimes as little as 26 days during peak season. Each failure took the affected extractor offline for 90 minutes, and during November–April that meant losing roughly 4,200 gallons of juice per incident at peak rates.
$120k/yr in compressed-air savings
Plant engineering had been running the rotary-screw compressor house at 98% load for the better part of two years. The reliability team was watching loaded-hour curves climb, two of the four 200 hp units were lined up for top-end overhauls, and the capital request for a fifth compressor was already drafted at $340,000 plus install.
